'New Dawn' report: Bright outlook for China BPO
We've heard it before, and you probably have as well. Still, it's gratifying to see fresh confirmation that "China has emerged as a favorable destination for information technology and business process outsourcing."
That conclusion comes from two analysts at KPMG China, a branch of the influential consulting network. "China has positioned itself as a key location by enhancing skill availability, making focused investments and addressing IPR concerns," they say in a recent report titled "A New Dawn: China's Emerging Role in Global Outsourcing."
The firm's 40-page analysis notes that "Chinese vendors have also advanced to offering specific knowledge in such areas as banking, insurance and healthcare" – three industries served by CPI. Naturally, we're pleased that KPMG says "China's emerging outsourcing players already have strong credentials." Independent endorsements of this type affirm the success of a vision we've pursued since 1998 – providing world-class, innovative business support .
