中国服务外包企业瞩目于国际舞台--载誉而来

Monday April 21, 8:00 am ET

BEIJING, April 21 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- CompuPacific International, a premier provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions from China, will be featured in the May issue of Fortune magazine on a "Global Outsourcing 100" list. That recognition by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) is among a series of honors for CompuPacific during its 10th anniversary year.

The company also earned placement on a Global Services 100 list, compiled annually by Global Services Media and the neoIT consulting firm, and is among the Top 50 Chinese outsourcing companies ranked by Chinasourcing Co., Ltd., an industry group.

"I am delighted by our performance. These results, especially the award by the IAOP, put us firmly in the league of companies such as IBM and Accenture," said Michael Liu, founder and CEO of CompuPacific International (CPI). "This is part of a remarkable year for our company. I'm very proud of my team."

These latest industry honors reinforce CPI's reputation as a leader in sourcing and management of vertically integrated business and technology services from China. The awards come as the company expands onshore client services to Europe with its newest office in Liverpool, UK. That base, which gives CPI a presence on four continents, reflects closer business and economic relationships between the European Union and China,

The first recognition of 2008 came from Global Services Media, which serves the industry with a magazine and online news site. In February, it assessed CPI as one of the 100 best service providers, based on size, customer base, skills and training. The selection panel, consisting of Global Service Media experts and third parties, concluded that the company has potential to generate significant growth in the global outsourcing market.

Chinasourcing, an industry web portal, in March unveiled its Top 50 list of leading service providers in China and in the offshore outsourcing market. CPI qualified for the No. 8 position, based on quality audits, expert evaluations and feedback from more than 400 overseas outsourcers.

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), with 40,000 members, selected CPI as one of 2008's "Best Outsourcing Service Providers." The judgment by a panel of certified outsourcing professionals followed an assessment of CPI's size, growth, customer references, organizational competencies and management capabilities. The complete list of "The Global Outsourcing 100" will be published in a special feature sponsored by the IAOP in the May 5 issue of Fortune magazine.
